Privacy Policy
This document describes Omni's ("Omni", "we", "our", "us") practices and circumstances regarding user data.
All users
Notwithstanding any conditions (e.g. whether the user has an account), we collect the following information under the following conditions:
- All visits to the sign-in and sign-up page would produce a record that consists of: 1) the date and time of your visit, 2) your IP address, 3) your user agent, and 4) access type, either "sign in" or "sign up".
Users with accounts
- When a user has an account, we collect and store all the information that was asked for explicitly through forms. This includes your profile (e.g. demographics, education, etc), job applications, draft applications, etc.
- To reduce vagueness, this means that if we, for example, don't ask for your IP address (which we don't), then we do not associate your IP address with your account.
Visitors without accounts
- Outside of information collected as indicated in the "all users" section, we do not collect any additional information from visitors without accounts.
- To reduce vagueness, this means that, outside of what is indicated in the "all users" section, we do not collect your IP address, the pages you visit, or any other information not explicitly asked for. We do not store request headers.
Retention
- All accounts and account-related information (e.g. demographics, education, etc) are not subject to automatic deletion. i.e. we do not automatically delete accounts or any account-related information.
- We retain IP logs for the sign-in and sign-up page for 365 days. After which, they would be deleted (via a cron job that scans and deletes every day at 00:00 UTC).
Deletion
- All users with an account may request their account be deleted, which would delete all associated records of the account, including demographics, education, job applications, job drafts, etc forthwith. This is an irrecoverable process that is triggered immediately after the user confirms account deletion, which will be completed as soon as processing allows, typically within a few seconds. The entire database becomes as if the user never existed in the first place.
- You may not request to delete the IP logs associated with the sign-in and sign-up pages.
Sharing
- We do not share any information with anyone else except when the law requires.
- We are based in Canada and are subject to Canadian laws.
- If compelled, we will produce all law enforcement-requested information to law enforcement or courts.
- All information stored is maintained in a Supabase project and is subject to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
